Alex Kingston (ER; Doctor Who) stars as Helen Maynard, who plays the mother of a 1980s family who becomes concerned by her daughter’s imaginary friend called Alice and finally Shelley Conn (Mistresses) plays Nisha, who moves to Marchlands with her partner, Mark (Elliot Cowan – The Fixer) and are expecting a baby. As the atmospheric story weaves through the three generations of families up to the present day, the truth about what really happened to Alice emerges.
